Del Bland’s annotated copy of this significant large cent sale. According to Bland’s notes, laid in, this was Louis Helfenstein’s copy, and bears his original handwritten notes on the sale. It was later annotated by Bland, incorporating material from C. Douglas Smith’s copy. The loose notes laid in include commentary on the condition of coins also in the Anderson-Dupont sale, a note on the sale of the Sloss collection in September 1958 through Kosoff, and Doug Smith’s original invoice from the sale.
